Drop-In & Under Deck Firestop Devices | HoldRite HydroFlame

Watch Save Time on the Jobsite: HydroFlame® Drop-In & Under Deck Installation on YouTube.

Firestopping pipe penetrations is an important part of commercial construction, but it can also be time-consuming and inconsistent when using traditional methods. That's why HoldRite developed HydroFlame™ Drop-In (DID) and Under Deck (UDD) Firestop Devices. It’s a simple solution designed to help you install firestop systems faster while supporting code compliance.

Simplify Firestop Installation

The innovative clamshell-style design wraps around the penetrant, making installation quick and consistent while simplifying retrofit applications where piping is already installed. Instead of relying on field-built methods, this standardized solution helps create repeatable results across the jobsite.

Whether you're working on new construction or retrofit applications, these devices can be installed:

  • From the top side or underside of the deck.
  • Before or after pipe installation.
  • In corrugated metal, flat form, and precast deck applications.
  • With non-metallic, metallic, and insulated metallic pipes.

Fire, Smoke, and Code Compliance

HydroFlame Drop-In and Under Deck Devices combine multiple layers of protection in a single solution. The devices incorporate firestop materials and smoke-sealing components designed to help maintain the integrity of rated floor assemblies.

The devices are:

  • UL Fire Tested and Listed.
  • Tested to ASTM E814, UL 1479, and CAN/ULC S 115 Testing Standards.
  • Available with typical 2- or 3-hour F-ratings, depending on concrete thickness and the applicable UL system.
